Me and my friend were hit by a car in California - Berkeley The guy did not stop! He ran away! Thank guys for your support! Yesterday I went to the police department and I reported the crime. I also gave the video to the police officer. It was possible to identify the number of the car on the video. The police have located the car and the owner. Now I'm waiting for the return of the police on the case. |

New world records have been set in Melbourne on this first day of the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. However, for the audience inside the Hisense Arena, the opening meeting's extraordinary technical prowess was not crowned by the victories expected of the Australians riders. In the Men's Team Pursuit final, the "Cyclones" were hoping to repeat the success they had enjoyed in London in February. Men's Team Pursuit: A new record for Great Britain Already looking comfortable during the qualifying heats, with the third best time in history, Great Britain managed to do even better in the decisive part of the competition and pulled off a genuine exploit. The group, composed by Geraint Thomas, Ed Clancy, Peter Kennaugh and Andrew Tennant covered the 4 kilometers in 3'53''295, improving the 2008 time which had brought them gold in the Beijing Olympics by 19 hundredths of a second. The close match between Australia and Great Britain, the two best teams in the world in this discipline, promises us some unforgettable moments this Summer on the Olympic track. By the time of this clash of the titans, New Zealand took in Melbourne the third place in the competition, beating Russia for the bronze medal. Anna Meares defended her world keirin title as the crowd lifted the roof off Hisense Arena in supporting the Australian on Saturday night. Cameron Meyer staged a very late dash to secure his third world points title. Michael Hepburn defeated world record holder Jack Bobridge for an Australian one-two in the Men's Individual Pursuit. Frenchman Gregory Bauge won his third Individual Men's Sprint title and placed a marker for the Olympic crown later this year, while Great Britain's Laura Trott will be a marked rider for the women's omnium in London after success in Melbourne. BAUGE RECLAIMS SPRINT CROWN Frenchman Gregory Bauge is the men's sprint king on the boards after winning his third individual sprint title on Saturday. Bauge defeated defending champion Jason Kenny 2-0 in the final at Hisense Arena. Reigning Olympic champion Chris Hoy from Great Britain beat Australia's Shane Perkins two-nil for the bronze medal.
